Background : Sana completed her M.Tech. in Biotechnology from D.Y. Patil University

Sana is working as a Research Fellow in Nanobios Lab since August 2015. She is skilled in synthesis and characterization of quantum Dots and Developing Biochemistry Kits, Molecular Biology Techniques. Fabrication of optical-based devices and carrying out clinical trials using patient blood samples. She is also a strong research professional with a Master’s Degree focused in Biotechnology from D Y Patil University School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics.

Research Interest : She specialises in the synthesis of semi-conductor quantum dots and their applications in disease diagnosis. She is also involved in development of Point-of-Care Multi-Analyte sensing devices which are able to detect human serum electrolytes along with glucose and urea. In addition, she is also working on the development of biochemistry kits for detection of serum electrolytes.
