Dr. Vinay Patel

Research interests: Electrochemical sensor, Solid-state sensor, self-assembled monolayer, chemiresistive sensors, Point-of-care devices, rapid prototyping.
Background: Vinay Patel is an Institute postdoctoral fellow. He has completed his PhD from School of Biomedical Engineering, McMaster University, Canada and undergraduate from IIT, Kharagpur. Before PhD, he has worked in industries on development of a point-of-care devices and virtual simulator for diabetic patients. He was awarded multiple awards including Outstanding Graduate student (Faculty of Health Sciences, McMaster University), and Institute Silver medal (IIT Kharagpur).
