Dr. Shikha Dessai is an MBBS graduate and MTech Research Scholar in the BSBE Department at IIT Bombay, working under the supervision of Prof. Rohit Srivastava and Dr Vibha Sharma. Her current research focuses on the development of biomaterial-based drug delivery systems for wound healing, integrating polymers, nanoparticles, and pharmacological agents.
Prior to this, she completed her MBBS from Goa Medical College and served as a Medical Officer, Bond, and developed a strong interest in translational research aimed at bridging clinical medicine and advanced biomaterials.
