Date of Joining : 06 / 04 / 2018
At present, Dr. Rajendra Prasad is working as an Institute Post Doctoral Fellow (IPDF) at NanoBios Lab, Department of Bioscience and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), India. Currently, he is working on the engineering of biological nanohybrids and functional nanomedicine for localized cancer theranostics.
Background : In 2017, Rajendra received his PhD degree from CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune (NCL, Pune) in the area of functional materials design in the guidance of Dr. K. Selvaraj. Subsequently, he joined Prof. Rohit Srivastava‘s NanoBios Lab, IIT-Bombay as a Research Associate that is promoted to Institute Postdoctoral Fellow in Apr. 2018 to till. Rajendra's main focus is to design safe nanomedicine for better health care. His research interest includes functional materials design and their bio-engineering for nanomedicine and their basic understanding. In early 2019, Rajendra has worked in the area of regenerative medicine at Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis, USA (IUPUI) for a short period of time.
